There will NOT be another issue of The Canadian Woodturner unless members volunteer to serve on the executive and as Editor. 

As mentioned in last issue of the publication in June, 2000, the members of the executive of the CWA have terminated their duties.  So far no one has volunteered to produce the magazine or to hold any of the positions on the executive.  Therefore, without an editor, there will be no upcoming issue of The Canadian Woodturner. 

If you are a woodturner, or if you're interested in the craft and wish to learn more about woodturning, then the Canadian Woodturners' Association was made for you!  A nationally- chartered, non-profit group, the CWA is dedicated to the advancement of woodturning in all forms in Canada. 

Our purpose is to provide education, information and coordination for individuals and clubs interested in woodturning in Canada.  Members from coast to coast include novices, hobbyists, professionals, collectors and merchants. 

As a members, you will receive our quarterly journal and you will also enjoy attractive discounts on purchases of tools and supplies with dealers nationally.  One purchase is worth the membership. 

Our informative journal includes news and humour, club information and activities, special events, product reviews, project ideas, shop tips and techniques - all to help you enjoy woodturning to its fullest.
